Universal Music Group is the label for many of the world's top artists and wanted to help their roster engage with fans on Facebook fan pages and personalize content onto their newsfeeds.
With Transpond's musical e-cards technology, Universal Music Group delivered an engaging App for top artists such as Lady Gaga, 50 cent, and Black Eyed Peas. Users pick an image, a song, and even supply a custom greeting and send it to their friends directly to their Facebook walls or via email.
The Black Eyed Peas post-a-quote app alone drew over 2,000,000 user engagements in two months reaching over 40,000,000 friend impressions.
