Peter is the Founder & CEO at Transpond, and has 15 years of experience helping companies adapt new technology platforms. Peter was most recently the Founder and CEO at ActiveGrid, a commercial open source company delivering the LAMP stack to the enterprise. Previously, he was CTO of Sun Microsystems' Liberty Network Identity initiative. Peter was also CTO of Sun Microsystems' Application Server Division. Before its acquisition by Sun, Peter served as CTO of NetDynamics, which pioneered the then-leading J2EE application server. Earlier, he was Founder and CEO of JRad Technologies, an enterprise Java company acquired by NetDynamics. Peter holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

Geoff has over a decade of executive experience working with pioneering interactive television companies including TiVo and DIRECTV, breakthrough emerging media platform companies such as Liberate, Excite@Home, and PacketVideo and professional services design and development agencies Method and Code and Theory. Geoff has contributed to two Primetime Emmy™ Award winning interactive media projects. In 2006 his work on the TiVo Service was recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for outstanding achievement in interactive television. In 2004 Geoff produced an interactive version of ABC Television's 'Celebrity Mole' which won the 2004 Primetime Emmy Award for interactive television. In addition to his role at Transpond, Geoff has been elected to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Board of Governors representing the Interactive Media Peer Group for the January 2009 - December 2010 term.

Richard has been with Transpond since the start, developing a highly-regarded Rich Internet Application. In 2001, Richard started IBX consulting in Prague delivering Internet applications for numerous clients. Prior to IBX, Richard was the founder of a consulting firm with a focus on Lotus Notes development and instruction. Richard graduated from the University of Southern California and started his IT career as a Certified Netware Engineer.

Ken Elefant is a founding partner of Opus Capital focusing primarily on internet and software investments. Ken serves on the board of Wirefree Partners and Royalty Services and was involved with several prior investments including Virsa Systems (NYSE: SAP) and Riverbed Technology (Nasdaq: RVBD). Previously, Ken was a Senior Associate at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Prior to this, Ken was a Senior Associate and Kauffman Fellow at Battery Ventures.

Prior to joining Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners in 1990, Gill managed the West Coast venture capital operations of Adler & Company. In 1985, he was one of three general partners who formed the first independent Israeli venture fund.

Christine Herron joined First Round Capital as a Principal in 2008. Previously, Christine was a director at Omidyar Network, where she developed the Media practice strategy and drove $15 million in early-stage placements. Prior to joining Omidyar Network in 2005, Christine was the VP of Marketing for Mission Research, which develops small business CRM solutions. While there, she led marketing from initial business plan authoring through the acquisition of paying customers and distribution partners. Earlier, Christine founded and led Mercury2, a software-as-a-service developer of international trade logistics systems, and managed Internet products and strategy at both NetObjects and Microsoft.
